Society conduct Blood camps on regular Basis. Bloods camps are
conducted in Educational institutes, Financial Institutes Banks)
and various other places.
Recently we have
collected!
- 101 units of Blood from IMCB, F-7/3
in just 5 hours is an excellent initiative that the Blood
Donor took..... Their level of commitment and selfless sacrifice
was commendable, as it was the first camp held by BDC in
the college.
- IMCB G-10/4 showed a similar level of
response by donation 72 units of blood in one-day camp.
- Blood collection for Afghan Refugees
was conducted through Open Blood Camps in Market places
with aim of providing Safe Blood to the effected. The blood
was then screened and sent to effected areas in Balochistan
by Muslim Hands (NGO).
- An Emergency Plan was also developed
which linked BDC to other Blood Transfusion Services in
the Islamabad-Rawalpindi Region, When required an immediate
basis.
