' The Voluntary Service is more than a philosophy, a treaty, or a historical institution. It is the embodiment of a worldwide belief that human life and dignity are worthy of respect and protection from the ravages of man and nature. It is a belief that is made real every day by the actions of skilled and trained people who are motivated by a deep personal desire to help others without regard for their own material gain.'

MOBILE FIRSTAID' PRCS AMBULANCE'

MOBILE FIRST AID TEAMS - A JOINT INITIATIVE OF ICRC AND PRCS
Religious congregations, festivals, and other celebrations often become occasions where for various reasons mishaps can happen. At these times, availability of first aid can literally save lives. With this intention in mind, ICRC and PRCS jointly embarked upon the formation of mobile first aid teams in the two major cities of Lahore and Karachi. The main objective was to provide first aid assistance whenever large congregations and other functions were arranged in these cities. The mobile first aid teams are equipped with complete first aid kits and first aid trainers to readily extend their services whenever needed.
PRCS AMBULANCE FIRST AT THE SCENE OF VIOLENCE
Disaster struck in Karachi when a bomb blast ripped through in motorbike parking lot of the centrally located PSG House in Clifton. PRCS Sindh PHQ promptly responded as a prime organization in disaster response by being the first at the scene of the disaster along with three ambulances and a team of first aiders and field officer headed by the Branch Secretary. PRCS staff and ambulance played an instrumental role in providing first aid to the injured and transporting the one dismembered dead body found at the location to the hospital.
