FIRST AID TRAINING' EXCHANGE OF FAMILIES'

FIRST AID TRAINING TO COLLEGES A JOINT VENTURE OF ICRC & PRCS

Accidents whether they occur on roads, offices, homes or at schools/colleges leave deadly results, only because the victims are not rushed to the hospitals quickly. The injuries caused because of the accidents might not be dangerous but mal treatment of the injured by the people around make the situation life threatening, and many a times people die or suffer serious losses. Therefore, at the time of any accident it is necessary that victims of accidents be treated cautiously, so as to save them from further physical damage.

The ICRC and PRCS jointly embarked upon 'First Aid Trainings Project" in all the 4 Provinces and in AJ&K State Branch. The recipients of these First Aid Trainings were college/school students of age group 15-18. The aim of conducting these trainings was to acquaint the students with the fundamentals of FirstAid, so that whenever there is an accident they are in a position to help the victims.

PRCS has till now trained a total of 198 Students (103 Male and 95 Females). These First Aid Trainings have been conducted in NWFP and AJK State, whilst trainings in Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab Provinces are in progress.
