RED CROSS! RED CRESCENT FUNFAIR IN AJ&K

In order to promote image building through some fairly popular means the AJ&K State Branch of PRCS decided to organise such an activity, which would be welcomed with enthusiasm amongst the locals; a Fun Fair for women and children.

After a quick survey of the market and various institutions, the staff and volunteers were ready to begin the work. On the 20th of April arrangements were set up at the Govt. Girls Degree College in Muzaffarabad. lt was hoped that the event would also serve as a Fundraising opportunity for the Branch.
Stalls of interest were set up for women and children, and specially decorated with PRCS Banners, posters and other promotional material. The stage show by local artists was the chief attraction amongst the visitors. Other activities of interest were the PRCS Lucky Scheme and the Red Crescent 'Neelam Ghar'.

The Honourable Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Mr. Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan was the chief guest. He showed special interest in PRCS activities and appreciated their efforts in helping Refugees and Internally Displaced People.
