60 die in AJK bus plunge and Red Crescent shifted 15 dead bodies
At least 60 people are feared to have drowned while nine others sustained injuries after a passenger bus plunged into flooded River Jhelum near village Badhiyara, on Chanari Road Thursday, officials said.

Pakistan Red Crescent immediately responded with its emergency response team comprising of one first aid coordinator, one dispenser, five volunteers with one ambulance. Mr. Muhammad Azim Khan, Secretary PRCS AJK Branch, said first aid service was immediately provided owing to which 7 passengers were provided first aid 15 dead bodies were shifted to the hospital. PRCS Volunteers also assisted rescue 112 team in fishing out alive.
