Also, Kirthar Canal breach has inundated at least 150 villages, as breach at SM protective embankment is persistently broadening. The flood torrent sustained mounting pressure at Loop Bund, as the population living near the dykes started mass exodus towards Thatta for safer places. The breach that was caused in Loop Bund to spare Daro, Bhuttoro, Banu and Sajawal the inundation, is rapidly entering catchments area. While, the floodwater, forcing out of a third breach at Loop Bund in the other part of dyke, is fast-paced gulping Kot Aalimon and Laiqpur. GOC Hyderabad Shaukat Iqbal visited SM Bund. The current that broke out from Kirthar Canal, having wrought havoc in Rato Dero and Garhi Yaseen, is fast headed towards Nodero, Garhi Khuda Bux, Sajawal Junejo and Mero Khan. The deluge has inundated at least 110 villages in Tehsil Rato Dero, of them at least 20 village were absolutely washed away with over 10,000 people still stranded in these areas. The surging floodwater has unleashed panic among the people across the district.
