ISLAMABAD January 18: Beacon House Islamabad Branch students Tuesday gave their Eidi to Pakistan Red Crescent Society Chairman Lt Gen. Jahan Dad Khan for Tsunami affectees of Indonesian at a simple ceremony held at the Society Headquarters here. Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman lauded the students’ contribution for the victims. He stressed the students to further participate in the relief campaign as their participation can further boost PRCS efforts in the service humanity. He said that the Society is trying its best to help the Tsunami victims and it had handed over consignments of relief goods to Sri Lankan High Commissioner and Indonesian Envoy for the victims He said that all the PRCS Relief Campaign for Tsunami victims is continuing all over the country to collect more donations for the victims. He said that the Society had so far received Rs 10 million in cash besides other relief goods, adding that Pakistan Red Cross Provincial branches and volunteers are working round the clock for collecting funds for the Tsunamis victims all over the country. On the occasion Services and Development organization also presented Rs three lakh cheque to the Chairman for the victims. The Chairman appreciated the efforts of the organization for donation to Tsunami affectees. .
