Protection and Community Engagement

The (PRCS) Protection, Gender & Inclusion (PGI) and Community Engagement & Accountability (CEA) programs are two integrated cross cutting themes focusing on:

PGI Program

1. Protection: Safeguarding vulnerable sections of the society from harm and exploitation or could write as : safeguarding the rights, dignity, and well-being of vulnerable individuals affected by crises
2. Gender: Promoting gender equality and empowering women and girl
3. Inclusion: Ensuring equal access to services for marginalized groups/ ensuring all individuals, especially the most vulnerable and marginalized (e.g., women, children, persons with disabilities, & minorities), have equal access to aid, services, and decision-making processes without discrimination

CEA Program

1. Community Engagement: Building trust and partnerships with local communities through established community complaint mechanisms
2. Accountability: Ensuring transparency and accountability in PRCS' programs and services with timely, open and honest communication.

Together, These Programs Aim To

1. Promote inclusive and safe access to services leaving no one behind
2. Empower marginalized groups, especially women, girls, person with disabilities (PWDs) Elderly, and minorities.
3. Foster community trust and ownership
4. Ensure accountability and transparency in PRCS' work
By integrating PGI and CEA, PRCS addresses the unique needs and challenges of vulnerable populations, ensuring a more inclusive and effective humanitarian response.
